Great place to stop for either a BIG breakfast or a nice cuppa and cake. Very popular at all times, because it's good value.

We've eaten here many times while cycling the Levels and it's always a highlight of the ride. Basic not posh, with original stone floors that don't mind cleats and mud. Great food, proper mugs of tea and a wide number of choices, including for vegetarians.

Sweets hosted a microcar club event. It went really well the club members loved. The tea room had a great variety of teas, coffees, cold drink, wine, beer and ciders. Oh and don't forget their cakes. Members enjoyed the meals served especially the curry battered fish! Looking forward to next year

Lovely cafe with lots of space to sit and enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside. We only had tea and cake (which was delicious). The food smelled very tasty so we'll have to return to try it. The seating is comfy and varied giving the cafe an eclectic and cosy atmosphere. Staff are friendly and very accommodating. There's a really interesting small museum that can be accessed by paying 2.50. The cafe staff will then let you in to have a look around the varied exhibits that include a new and sustainable way of producing peat, parts of a recovered WW1 plane and various old machinery and instruments. Well worth a stop.
